Coronation Street fans came to know actress Naomi Cooper-Davis back in 2019 when she appeared as ruthless debt collector Sharon Geary.
She thrilled fans with her portrayal of the villainous henchwoman as she carried out the duties of her loan shark employer Rick Neelan.
Sharon became embroiled in a host of dramatic storylines, including assisting Rick in kidnapping Gary and capturing Sarah Platt and Leanne and Toyah Battersby in Rick’s office.

She plays the role on and off from 2018 to 2020 with a return to the role in September 2021.
But the talented actress has appeared in a string of other TV roles.

More than a decade before she walked on the famous cobbles, Naomi appeared in a classic comedy sketch show, Little Britain, where she appeared alongside show stars, Matt Lucas and David Walliams.
Eagle-eyed fans may also remember the star from the hit comedy series Peep Show, alongside Sophie Winkleman where she appeared in the infamous paintball episode The Love bunker as Deena back in 2012.

The star took her career differently when she appeared as a prostitute in the fifteenth-century crime drama The Borgias.
Her first recurring role since Coronation Street came about in 2019 when she appeared as Kaylee Jones in the UK version of the Norwegian show Temple, about a surgeon who is determined to save his dying wife and begins treating criminals for cash in his highly illegal secret underground clinic.

Naomi is set to make her dramatic return to Weatherfield this week as Gary gets a nasty shock when she returns. Sharon is seen paying a visit to Kelly to celebrate her engagement.
Gary begs Rick Neelan’s former loan shark accomplice not to ruin Kelly’s happiness by revealing he killed her father, although Laura Neelan took the blame before dying.
Aadi then lets slip that Kelly was kidnapped by some of Rick’s victims before being saved by Gary.
Still moved by his devotion to her and as her guardian, Kelly asks Gary to give her away at her wedding – and Sharon is horrified.
As ITV viewers know, Gary murdered Rick in self-defence after the ruthless loan shark terrorised residents in the cobbles but his secret is only known by a handful of people.
