Actress Claire Foy has shared a moving tribute to The Queen after she tragically passed away last Thursday.
Claire played the role of Queen Elizabeth II in the first and second seasons of The Crown.
Whilst at the Toronto film festival the actress told the BBC: “I think that she was an incredible monarch.

“She united people and she was a massive symbol of continuity and dignity and grace.”
“My main feeling is just thinking about her as a mother and a grandmother and a great-grandmother, really, and I’m very honoured to have been a teeny-tiny, small part of her story.”
Olivia Coleman then took over from Claire for seasons three and four.
She has also shared a touching tribute.
She told Variety: “She made a promise as a young woman and she absolutely kept it with such dignity. We’re all incredibly impressed by what she did,”
She also praised King Charles for his speech by saying: “From a British point of view, he did it so beautifully. He did it about love, tolerance and gentleness, and that is what she always wanted and she’s done.
“From the outside world looking at Great Britain, at the moment, we’ve got some comedy going on at one side – politics – and something so dignified. I felt proud to be British. I think he’s going to do a good job.”
Other celebrities have also paid their respects to Queen Elizabeth.
Deborah Davies paid tribute writing: “Rest In Peace to our beautiful Queen. It feels like we have lost a family member.
“God bless you, what an incredible dignified lady you were. “
ITV star Lorraine took to Twitter to share her own loving tribute.
She wrote: “So sad.
“What a life of service and duty. incredibly honoured to have met her. Always been there my whole life. Thoughts with her family and everyone who loved her.”
Journalist Piers Morgan released a touching statement where he said: “When Her Majesty the Queen died this afternoon in Balmoral, a little piece of us all died with her. ”
Actress Reese Witherspoon took to Twitter to say: “Rest in Peace Queen Elizabeth II,” alongside a picture of The Queen.
Spice Girls singer Geri Halliwell took to Instagram with a picture of the Queen and captioned it: “My thoughts and sympathies go to the Royal Family for the loss of their Mother, Grandmother, Aunt.
“Thank you to Her Majesty for her resolute never-ending service. She is, and always will be the epitome of dignity and elegance.”
