He is known for his famous lyrics in his chart-topping songs such as Power, The Greatest and The Gold Digger.
But what fans of hitmaker Kanye West may be surprised to know is that he has never read a book before.
The dad-of-four, 45, has recently announced that he is launching a private Christian school for children which is understood to be “preparing students to become the next generation of leaders” through “an ethic of integrity and care.”

As he shared his latest exciting project in an interview with the Alo Mind Full podcast, the artist confessed he has never been much of a bookworm, and is yet to finish a book himself.
During the hour-long podcast, Kanye – also known as Ye – confessed reading has always been a chore for him.
He told listeners: “When you said I hadn’t read this book, I actually haven’t read any book. Reading is like eating Brussels sprouts for me and talking is like getting the Giorgio Baldi corn ravioli.”
But that didn’t stop Kim Kardashian’s ex-husband from trading philosophical proverbs with radio host Danny Harris.
He added: “There’s two people, the man who thinks they can and the man who thinks they can’t. And they’re both right.
“That’s what you were saying, but that was like a simplified version,” Kanye explained.
Alo Yoga cofounder Danny agreed: “That’s right, yeah. The one who wins the race is the one who believes they can. The oak lied in the acorn.”
It comes after his ex-girlfriend Julia Fox recently opened up about spotting “red flags” in their relationship.
The Uncut Gems star first started dating the musician shortly after his split from reality star Kim where she enjoyed a whirlwind romance with him.
But two months later the pair called time on their relationship and have since gone their separate ways, with the Hollywood actress explaining that he seemed like “he had a lot to work on” moving forward.

In a recent interview with ES Magazine, she explained: “It just seems like he had a lot to work on, and I just don’t have time for it, or energy.
“I don’t have the bandwidth or emotional capacity for it. I’m proud of myself for that. Pre-Valentino Julia would have definitely stuck it out and been there for longer.”
