Emmerdale fans fear the end of ITV soap as Faith's death branded 'show suicide'

Emmerdale fans have been left feeling worried about the future of the popular ITV show as Faith Dingle’s life will soon come to an end.

The popular character played by actress Sally Dexter has been suffering with terminal cancer and will soon be departing from the long-running soap.

But due to the entertainment that Faith often brings when on screen, fans think Emmerdale producers would be mad to kill her off.

Taking to Twitter, avid Emmerdale viewers shared their thoughts.

One person wrote: “Killing Off Faith is Emmerdale suicide.”

Another echoed: “Killing off faith is such a stupid idea.”

A third said: “Faith’s death is so close – I’m not ready.”

Meanwhile another chimed: “It’s alright the viewers will remember Faith for the only character who brings joy to this rather than the ‘an old, empty, husk of woman’ as she said to Moira.”

During Tuesday night’s episode, Faith had the time of her life when Eric Pollard took her for her spin in a golf cart.

Driving the stolen cart into the village, Faith and Eric were clearly drunk too which left Brenda Walker rather surprised when she bumped into the dynamic duo.

Seeing their hilarious display, fans jumped back onto Twitter to share their thoughts on the old-aged pensioners.

One viewer wrote: “Faith and Eric drunk in charge of a golf buggy…[laughing emoji].”

Another shared: “I don’t want faith to die. I’m have teary watchn her and Eric on the golf cart.”

Since her cancer diagnosis, Faith has been trying to ensure she takes matters into her own hands.

But in upcoming scenes, fans may be surprised by the decision that Faith chooses to make.

According to Emmerdale spoilers, Faith will ask daughter-in-law Moira to assist with her death.

When Faith’s health takes another downward turn, Moira is troubled to see she is running out of time and later Faith is clearly overwhelmed when Moira relents and agrees to be by her side when she takes her last breath.

Still struggling to come to terms with it all, a torn Moira sobs and hopes she’s made the right choice.

But with Faith insisting that Moira should help her, will she actually decide to do it.
