Ariana Grande eyeing up London pad in big move as she takes on new role

Ariana Grande is moving into an eight-figure mansion in London while working on the two-film adaptation of hit musical ‘Wicked’.

The 29-year-old songstress will be calling North London home for the duration of filming after being cast as Glinda The Good Witch in the hit musical adaption.

Ariana will be calling North London home where the pop star will boast the likes of Ricky Gervais and Liam Gallagher as neighbours.

A source told The Sun: “Ariana is renting a stunning house in one of the capital’s most sought-after neighbourhoods.

The sprawling pad is said to be built like a fortress to keep the popular star away from prying eyes.

“The home has private grounds and is well out of reach of other people, so she’ll be able to totally switch off after filming,” added the source.

The cost of renting the property is estimated to be in the “hundreds of thousands” of pounds.

The insider added that the home has a sprawling kitchen, bedrooms packed with high-end furniture, huge reception rooms, a massive cinema, and big private gardens for entertaining.

Ariana’s property expert husband Dalton Gomez knows a thing or two about plush pads, and he is also expected to spend time with his significant other at the house.

The 7 Rings hitmaker beat off competition from Amanda Seyfried to land the role.

Wicked, which has earned over $1 billion (£886.9m) throughout its nearly 20-year Broadway run, is a musical prequel to the Wizard of Oz that tells the story of how Elphaba became the Wicked Witch of the West.

The film will split into two parts, with the first set for a 2024 release and the second for 2025.

She will star alongside Emmy, Tony and Grammy award winner Cynthia Erivo who will play Elphaba.

Ariana, who jetted to the UK earlier this year for rehearsals, previously admitted her role as Glinda and her beauty brand REM Beauty are taking priority – with music taking a backseat for the time being.

She told fans online: ”The truth is, I have not begun an album. The most incredible gift of my entire life is this role that I’ve adored since I’m 10 years old, and that is going to have every piece of me; every minute, every ounce of my heart, my time, my soul, my everything that I can give it.”
