Earlier this month, ITV officially confirmed that I’m A Celeb would be making a return to Australia after two years away.

After filming in Gwrych Castle, North Wales since the pandemic, Ant and Dec are set to welcome a new bunch of celebs back Down Under.

The news comes after much speculation that I’m A Celebrity would be back in Oz with ITV’s Director of Content, Rosemary Newell, hinting that the new season would be back at its birthplace in March.

“We expect a celebrity to return in Australia in November, when it will generate audience over 11 million,” she said at the time.

I’m A Celebrity was forced to swap Oz for Wales in 2020 due to travel restrictions as a result of the Covid pandemic, with Giovanna Fletcher becoming the first Queen of the Castle.

The series returned to the castle for another year in 2021, which saw Emmerdale actor Danny Miller crowned winner.

I’m A Celebrity last took place in the jungle in 2019, which saw former EastEnders star Jacqueline Jossa.

I’m A Celebrity returns to ITV later this year
