The One Show got off to a savage start on Thursday night (September) when host Alex Jones took a savage dig at her co-star.
The hit BBC One programme had only just begun when Welsh presenter Alex decided to swipe at Ronan Keating in front of the nation.
It’s no secret that former pop star Ronan was a member of Boyzone, one of the biggest boybands ever, before he turned his talents to broadcasting.

However, it seems Alex isn’t that impressed with her co-host’s music career, at least if her cheeky jibes are anything to go by.
Or a better way to put it might be that she hinted she thinks Take That are simply bigger or better than Boyzone.
Alex teased Ronan as she introduced the star-studded guests on Thursday’s show, which included Take That legend Mark Owen, veteran broadcaster David Dimbleby and Country icon Shania Twain.
She said: “He’s one third of one of the biggest boybands of all time…” before looking over at Ronan, who looked rather excited as if he thought she was talking about him.
However, Alex snubbed Ronan when she looked away from him and quipped: “Take That,” and she couldn’t help giggling.
Playing the sketch well, Ronan looked away gutted at his colleague’s assessment before carrying on with the show.
Mark was there to plug his new tour and his upcoming album, Land of Dreams, which is set for release at the end of September.
It comes after Gary Barlow promised Take That fans that plenty was in store for the iconic boyband.
Speaking on The Zoe Ball Breakfast Show on Radio 2, he said: “There’s a lot of Take That stuff coming up in the future. And just to answer your question properly, yes, we’re back together next year.
“Brand new music coming your way.”
