Kate Garraway red-faced as Richard Arnold makes brutal dig over second job on GMB

Good Morning Britain presenter Kate Garraway was teased by showbiz journalist Richard Arnold as she tried to plug her Smooth Radio show on ITV’s GMB.

Richard had just finished chatting to US musician LeAnn Rimes when the camera cut back to the studio where Richard admitted he “loves a bit of LeAnn Rimes”.

Garraway then admitted that Smooth Radio love to play her songs and Arnold saw an opportunity he couldn’t resist.

Kate replied: “So do I! All over Smooth mid-morning, you know.”

Richard cheekily quipped back: “Do you have a radio show, mid-mornings on Smooth?”

A sheepish Kate remarked “maybe” before the conversation moved on and the pair chuckled at their banter.

Richard was loving the sarcasm

Fans turned to Twitter to praise the singer after her interview with Good Morning Britain.

One wrote: “Love LeAnn Rimes…lovely lady,” before they signed off with kisses and a red heart emoji.

Another repeated her comment: “People have been listening to it on the beach,” before they added a “wow” of amazement.

LeAnn Rimes has returned with her most recent studio album and covers serious topics with the help of some famous friends.

Kate was left red-faced after his comment

The singer has collaborated with some of her musical pals for her new project, including Aloe Blacc.

GMB host Kate Garraway and Ed Balls presented the show as showbiz reporter Richard Arnold discussed John Legend’s new album and Stomzy’s 10 minute video for his new song.

Kate was recently told to “stop talking” during a report after a conversation about the GP crisis became heated.

GMB’s regular speaker Dr Amir Khan said that “people should be seen on the same day, if it’s an emergency” and admitted that people “shouldn’t have to wait two weeks in any instance”.

However, fans were later thrilled when Ed Balls hit back at former Conservative parliamentary candidate Iain Dale with facts and figures about NHS investment levels.

Despite his witty comebacks, Ed’s Good Morning Britain co-host Kate Garraway was forced to interject their argument.

She touched her earpiece and told the studio that she was being “shouted at to stop talking,” which means that she “had to interrupt him”.
