Faith is happy Moira hasn’t mentioned her plans to anyone

Faith feels relieved that her daughter-in-law Moira hasn’t told son Cain about her plan to end her own life but she is still seemingly determined for Moira to help her to end her life.

Understandably, Moira is resistant and feels hesitant to go along with Faith’s decision.

When Faith’s health takes another downward turn, Moira is troubled to see she is running out of time and later Faith is clearly overwhelmed when Moira relents and agrees to be by her side when she takes her last breath.

Still struggling to come to terms with it all, a torn Moira sobs and hopes she’s made the right choice.

Cain discusses his mother’s hospice plans

The following day, Moira’s awkward when Cain’s insistent on planning hospice care for Faith knowing she won’t require it.

Later on, Faith plans a day of fun for everyone but the atmosphere is ruined, due to Chas and Cain’s persistence with the chat about planning for the hospice and her aftercare.

As they continue to discuss future plans, Faith begins to feel guilty about her deception.

Faith feels guilty about her deception

When alone, Moira asks Faith to share her plans for her death, but Faith replies that she can’t do that as it will implicate her as assisting suicide is a crime.

Faith is clearly insistent that she wants to be able to choose the moment and have some control and dignity over her death.

Despite her strong stance, Moira is terrified by the reality of what she’s agreed to. Will she still decide to go through with Faith’s request?
