Maisie Smith called 'f****** terrible' after failed SAS stunt left her with black eyes

Maisie Smith was branded “f****** terrible” by one of the instructors on Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins after a stunt went horribly wrong.

During Sunday’s (September 25) episode of the Channel 4 programme, the celebrities were put through more gruelling challenges and were forced to dive backwards into the ocean.

Rudy Reyes, Jason Fox and Mark Billingham were watching the celebrities as they attempted the terrifying stunt which saw them fall several feet before hitting the pitch black water.

Speaking about the stunt, she previously told The Sun: “I literally got black eyes from where I fell in the water on my face. For the whole show I had two black eyes.

“Literally when I came out of the show my thighs were still dark purple for two weeks, they were still dark purple just from falling onto water from a height.”

She added: “I hit it so hard that the medic had to check I hadn’t broken my eye sockets. I was absolutely battered, but luckily nothing was broken. I was fine.”

Maisie’s brutal injury comes shortly after she teased her return to EastEnders after quitting her role as Tiffany Butcher in December 2021.

Speaking to Inside Soap magazine, the Strictly Come Dancing star admitted she is “always welcome” on Albert Square.

She said: “The moment I left they said to me ‘We’re so excited to see what you’re going to do, but you’re always welcome to come back and reunite the family’ – and I said, ‘Absolutely!’

“I said if they ever need me, just call me. I have so much family there with cast and the crew, I don’t think anyone ever really leaves.

“That’s what is nice about EastEnders. You always have a place there.”
