Fans of EastEnders are convinced that Janine Butcher will be exposed on Christmas Day when the soap turns up the heat.
Janine’s painted herself as an angel since sparking a romance with Mick Carter (Danny Dyer) and moving into The Queen Vic with her daughter Scarlett.
But unbeknown to her boyfriend and his loved ones, the character played by Charlie Brooks played a key role in the crash involving his ex-wife, Linda Carter.

However, this could all be set to change as viewers picked up on a key story which could see Janine’s involvement come to light in a dramatic ending.

During Tuesday’s episode, Janine’s daughter appeared to be ready to expose her criminal mum to Linda.
However, she later backed out of this but told Linda that Mick would leave Janine if he knew what she had really been up to.
Taking to Twitter, one viewer penned: “OMG Scarlett put the photo of Janine in the DVD case of Die Hard which is a Christmas film… I’m so now thinking Mick or someone is gonna find it on Christmas day! #eastenders.”

“DIE HARD, a Christmas film! Janine will be caught out on CHRISTMAS !# EastEnders,” exclaimed a second.
Before a third commented: “The fact that the Carters are going to settle down to watch Die Hard only for Janine’s lies to be revealed #EastEnders.”
“And when do people watch ‘Die Hard’….? So basically the Janine thing is going to explode at Christmas? #EastEnders,” added another.
Earlier in the week, Scarlett had discovered that Janine was in the back of an incriminating photograph, showing her disposing of the clothes that she had worn on the day of the crash.

While Linda was none the wiser about who was actually responsible, she had been led to believe she caused the crash due to the levels of alcohol in her body.
Earlier this year, Scarlett was forced to remain silent by her mum who revealed her true colours when she confessed to the crash as she made plans for the pair to run away from Walford.
But she appeared to open up to Linda in scenes which aired on Monday, asking if she could speak to the mum-of-five in private following a chance encounter in Kathy’s Cafe.
But as Scarlett had hoped to open up to Linda, Janine waltzed in, leading Scarlett no option but to hide the photo which shows Janine disposing of her clothes.
