JLS' Ortise Williams marries fiancée in 'out of this world' secret ceremony

JLS star Oritsé Williams has married his fiancee Kazz Kumar in a beautiful and romantic ceremony in the heart of Jamaica.

The happy couple opened up about their special day for the first time with Hello! Magazine, as he described their big day “like a fairytale”.

For their big day, the two love birds decided to jet off to Jamaica which they agreed was the perfect place for them to exchange their vows in front of their friends and family.

He told the publication: “It was like a fairytale. I was looking around trying to take in all of the moments and savour them.

“Jamaica has a very special place in my heart. My mother’s family is from Jamaica. It is and emotional, spiritual, sentimental location for me and for us both.”

The boyband member first popped the question to his blushing bride while he was on tour with JLS during their Beat Again reunion tour last October.

He told the publication at the time how he had planned an elaborate ruse to hide the surprise proposal at the Miskin Manor near Cardiff.

The singer managed to convince his unsuspecting partner that they were visiting the lavish hotel for a Valentine-themes photoshoot in collaboration with the beloved motorcycle company Harley-Davidson.

Oritsé recalled: “I went all in. I commissioned photographers, vicdeographers and made up a timesheet and moodboards. Harley-Davidson were in on it too and provided the bikes and the jackets and the lanyards.”

He explained how he popped the question with a “one-in-a-universe” ring, adding: “I wanted to find a colour similar to Kazz’s favourite crystal, rose quartz, so I had a pink sapphire flown over from Sri Lanka, which is where her heritage is from.”

The two newlyweds first met when the raven-haired beauty slid into the pop star’s DMs on social media.

Speaking to The Sun back in July 2020, the boyband hunk confessed how their relationship was “real” and “something genuine” without any “interference or distraction”.

He told the publication: “We’ve kept our relationship real. It was important for me that there was no interference or distraction and we could experience something genuine.

“We met through social media. She messages me first. She knew what she wanted and came right for it. She’s amazing.”
