'Devastated' Ferne McCann 'calls police over leaked voice notes amid 'Sam Faiers row'

Ferne McCann has reportedly been in contact with the police after accusations were made against her over recent leaked voice messages.

The former The Only Way Is Essex star, 32, is thought to have spoken to the authorities and is trying to uncover the identity of the anonymous account who began sharing the voice notes on social media recently.

She is reportedly feeling “devastated” as her life has now been “turned upside down” by the ordeal.

Billie Faiers, otherwise known as Billie Shepherd, has also allegedly confronted close pal Fern about the voice messages, which were posted by an Instagram account.

The voice clips in question, who reference Faiers sisters Sam and Billie, have been called “vile” by their mum Suzie Wells.

A section of the audio can also hear a person calling Sam a “fat c***” .

The recording reportedly made a month after Sam gave birth to her third child.

The clip continued: “Her thighs are so big and I looked really skinny today,” while another called Sam a “narcissistic b****”.

Another voice note heard a person calling out Billie for naming her son after Ferne’s ex-boyfriend Arthur Collins, who was jailed for an acid attack.

The person on the voice note said: “It feels so weird saying Arthur. I can’t believe, it’s like me having a little boy and calling him Greg? Anyway, whatever.”

A source has told The Sun that Ferne was “visited by the police” after the “fake account” has “launched a malicious smear campaign against her”.

They confirmed that “officers spent a few hours with her” and they “gave her reassurances that they are prioritising the case” and “tracking the parties responsible”.

The source went on to say that “statements have been taken” and the police are “currently in the process of tracking the fake account’s whereabouts”.

Ferne and Sam grew up with each other in their hometown of Essex and both starred in TOWIE.

Since leaving the reality series, Billie has since appeared on Ferne’s show Ferne McCann: First Time Mum and Ferne has also appeared on Billie’s ITVBe show The Family Diaries.
