Paris Hilton’s £10,000-a-day dog hunt, thought to be the “biggest in Hollywood history” has finally come to an end.
The hotel heiress, 41, has been searching for her pet Diamond Baby for 18 days now, with it now thought that the dog may have been snatched by a hungry coyote.
Diamond Baby first went missing on September 14 when Paris was away from her £8million home in the Hollywood Hills.

It is believed that a workman left a side door open and the dog managed to escape.
A source told the Mail on Sunday: “It’s not looking good. It’s been a massive hunt with global publicity, but we’ve not had a single sighting. Usually in a case like this there are multiple sightings if a dog is roaming loose.
“If Diamond Baby had been dognapped, we would have expected a ransom demand by now. But there have been no calls.
“It’s very sad but Paris is coming to the conclusion she may never see Diamond Baby again. She is heartbroken.”
Paris went to great lengths to search for her pet, even hiring a firm that operated heat-seeking drones, alongside pet detectives, psychics and professional dog trackers, who searched the grounds around her home in Mulholland Estates.

The source told the Mail on Sunday: “From the beginning the fear has always been that, because of the terrain, Diamond Baby may have fallen victim to wild coyotes.
“There has been a record heatwave in LA and coyotes are coming into residential neighbourhoods looking for food and water. They are starving.”
Paris is still hoping to find her pet pooch, with a family friend stating: “She’s heartbroken but will never give up on Diamond Baby.”
The dog had it’s own “doggie mansion” which cost £280,000 and wears a £35,000 diamond-encrusted collar.
