Motley Crue rocker and Pamela Anderson’s ex Tommy Lee has been known for his controversial moments throughout the years.
After recently sharing his own full-frontal d**k pic on social media, he even announced that he was joining Only Fans and took a swipe at Instagram for removing his nudes.
It’s just one of the controversial moments that the star has been involved in during the past four decades – from leaked sex tapes to a brawl with Kid Rock.

As the drummer turns 60 years old, Daily Star takes a look at his biggest controversies.
Pamela Anderson sex tape scandal
Tommy Lee and Pamela Anderson made headlines in October 1995 after their sex tape was stolen and leaked online.
The tape was stolen by handyman Rand Gauthier, who after working at the couple’s Malibu property, unexpectedly had his contract terminated due to what the couple described as ‘shoddy work’.
He later returned to the property to collect his tools, but told Rolling Stone Magazine that he was met by Tommy Lee holding a shotgun, who said “Get the f**k off my property.”
Rand explained this confrontation prompted him to steal the famous sex tape, and after spending the summer plotting the break in, he stole the safe containing the 54 minute video and worked with others to leak it on the internet.
Pamela and Tommy quickly filed a police report following the incident and later embarked on a $10 million lawsuit against Rand Gauthier and those involved, as well as suing the company that distributed downloaded copies of the videos.
After being advised by their legal team, the pair signed a contract that would allow a one-time Webcast as long as the video wasn’t sold, traded, copied or broadcasted.
Tommy said at the time: “We thought we had won: hardly anyone would see the video on the Internet, and we could recover the tape and start over.”
However, their plan backfired and the tape went viral in 1996 and 1997, and has been estimated to have raked in a whopping $77m (£57m) in sales.
In the years following the incident, Pamela later explained on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen that it “was not a sex tape” adding that it was a “compilation of vacations that we were naked on.”
The story of the sex tape scandal has since been made into a TV series, Pam And Tommy, which aired on Disney+ earlier this year and starred Lily James and Sebastian Stan as the couple.
Jail time
In May 1998, Tommy Lee was charged with felony spousal abuse after he attacked Pamela at home, and after pleading no contest, was later sentenced to six months in prison.
The Evening Standard reported that papers filed at the time of Tommy Lee’s arrest stated that Pamela Anderson said: “Tommy physically attacked me with complete disregard for my safety and, more importantly, for the safety of our children.”
Tommy Lee later spent four months in jail and was ordered to adhere to terms of his probation, which included avoiding drugs and alcohol, performing 200 hours of community service and staying at least 100 yards away from Pamela.
Following his sentencing, Pamela Anderson later told reporters outside the Court House: “I’m very proud of Tommy. I’m happy he took responsibility for this. And I think it’s the first step towards healing.”
However, Pamela filed for divorce days after the attack, and following their split, she reflected on their relationship in an interview with People, saying: “He was the love of my life.
“We had wild and crazy beginnings that was too much for both of us.”
Kid Rock fight
At the 2007 MTV Video Music Awards, Tommy was kicked out of the ceremony after getting in a fight with Pamela’s other ex-husband Kid Rock.
It is reported that Tommy went to say hello to P.Diddy at the MTV Video Music Awards when Kid Rock was out of his seat in the same row, but that “all hell broke loose” when Kid Rock returned, according to an interview with MTV personality Carson Daly in Today.
Rap Produce Rich Nice also told Today: “It looked like Tommy Lee initiated it because Kid Rock was ignoring him and Tommy Lee kind of antagonized him.
“Then when Tommy Lee stood up, it looked a little weird, like ‘Yo, what?’
“When Tommy stands up is when Kid hit him the first time with a backhand and then Tommy Lee looked like he was trying to get at him to aggressively retaliate – and then Kid Rock hits Tommy Lee again.”
The two rock stars had to be separated by body guards, with Tommy kicked out of the MTV ceremony a short time after.
Tommy addressed the incident on his website, according to Ultimate Classic Rock, saying in a statement that he was “minding my own biz [when] I get a tap on the shoulder from Kid Pebble.
“I stand up and embrace him with a semi hug and say ‘Hey dude. What up?’ He punches me in the face – well, if ya wanna call it that.”
Kid Rock has since revealed why he punched Tommy Lee, and told People Magazine that their feud had been running for more than five years before the incident.
Speaking in the same year as their fight, Kid Rock told People: “I did what any man would do, any man across the country, across the world would do.”
Kid Rock added: “It kills me just to be associated with, to have my name in a sentence with him, it honestly destroys me.”
Tommy had reportedly tried to reconcile with Pamela Anderson multiple times following their divorce, but she later became married to Kid Rock from July to December 2006.
However, Kid Rock made it clear during a radio interview with Perez Hilton that their feud had nothing to do with Pamela Anderson, saying: “It has the farthest thing to do from that.
“If he’s smart he’ll be like you know down deep you had it coming. Just leave it alone now. Go your own way.”
Full frontal snaps
Tommy Lee nearly broke the internet earlier this year, after he leaked his own full frontal d**k pic onto social media.
The rocker posted a completely uncensored photograph on his Instagram account, captioning the snap “Ooops”, as he showed a full frontal snap of him sitting in an empty bath.
The post left his 1.4m followers shocked, with one saying: Tom you can’t post this on Instagram.”
Another said: “Well I didn’t expect this when I opened Instagram,” while a third added: “Tommy Lee has broken the internet.”
While Instagram has a strict no nudity policy, the post was on his feed for more than five hours before being taken down.
After going viral for his full-frontal d**k-pic, the star shared a second racy snap and announced that he was joining Only Fans.
In a swipe at Instagram, he also said on stage at a concert in Las Vegas: “I showed you my s***.
“They took it down off the internet. … What I’ve done is I have now gone over to a place where you can be free as f***.
“And you can show anybody whatever the f*** you want, and they don’t f***ing take it down.”
Following the outburst, Tommy pulled down his trousers to reveal the words “OnlyFans” had been written in black marker across his bum cheeks.
