A number of high profile celebrities have spoke of the horror of having their private photos stolen and posted online for millions to see.
But a handful of famous faces have posted their own nude photos online – albeit by accident, most of the time.
With awkward explanations, quick deletions and major embarrassment, stars including Cardi B, Ulrika Jonsson, Liam Payne and Hollywood actor Chris Evans have all faced their own flesh faux-pas.

And then there’s the likes of Pamela Anderson’s ex-husband Tommy Lee, who seemed to accidentally on purpose post an uncensored photo of his penis on both Instagram and Twitter.
As the Motley Crue drummer turns 60 years old, Daily Star takes a look back at other stars who leaked their own nudes.
Tommy Lee
Tommy Lee is no stranger to having his naked body plastered all over the internet, after his sex tape with Pamela Anderson was stolen and released in the 1990s.
Fast forward almost 30 years and he gave his millions of followers another glimpse after he posted a completely uncensored, full-frontal picture of his naked body on Instagram and Twitter.
Suggesting he’d done it accidentally on purpose, the image was captioned: “Oooops.”
His wife, Brittany Furlan, replied: “Oh my god,” while one follower commented: “Tommy Lee has broken the internet.”
Somehow, it stayed on his Instagram page for more than four hours, despite the platform’s strict no-nudity rules.
The image was still up on Twitter at time of publication though, having racked up more than 1,450 likes and 415 retweets.
The rock star is clearly proud of his appendage, as he said in a 2004 interview he knew he was blessed when porn stars told him he had a “huge d***”.
Cardi B
In 2020, rap sensation Cardi B accidentally uploaded a topless photo of herself onto her Instagram Story.
Naturally, the internet went wild, with the former stripper quickly realising and deleting it.
She addressed the situation in a voice note on Twitter, in which she said: “Lord why the f*** you have to make me so f***ing stupid and r*****ed? Why? Why? Why? Why?
“I’m going to eat my breakfast, and then I’m going to go to a party because I’m not even going to think about it.
“I am not going to think about it, OK? Nope, no I’m not. I’m not.
“It is what is is. S*** happens. F*** it, it’s not even the first time. I mean, I used to f***ing be a stripper so whatever. Ay, Dios Mío.”
It could’ve been worse. She could’ve accidentally posted a picture of her “WAP”.
Usher
In 2016, singer Usher shared a picture on Snapchat from a steam room in which he was completely naked.
He attempted to cover up his manhood with an emoji, but it didn’t manage to hide everything, sending his fans wild.
Over the top of the black and white and very NSFW snap, the You Make Me Wanna… hitmaker wrote: “Blowing off steam.”
It seems Usher is no prude though, as he has also shared a slightly less X-rated black and white nude photo on Twitter too.
In the shot, the musician could be seen standing with blankets covering his private parts, while he rubbed his hands together.
Clearly this one was posted on purpose, though, as it’s still live on social media six years later.
Ulrika Jonsson
Former Gladiators host Ulrika Jonsson isn’t afraid to strip off online, though she usually hides her more intimate areas with well placed hands or legs.
That wasn’t the case in 2021 though, when she appeared to flash a nipple to her Instagram followers on purpose.
The star often shares updates about her life on Instagram, but one left her daughter fuming and begging her to delete.
In the photo, Ulrika could be seen reclining on a pillow while wearing a strappy black top that had fallen down slightly to reveal her nipple.
Suggesting she knew exactly what she was doing, she captioned the shot: “As it’s nearly my birthday now, I thought I’d slip you a little something.”
The star later claimed it was a “careless mistake” and that there was “no offence intended”.
Liam Payne
One Direction star Liam Payne often gets his kit off for photoshoots or to show off the results of his work out routines.
But in 2019, the singer posted what could have been a much ruder snap to his Instagram followers, which is sure to have got his fans hot under the collar.
In the grainy image, Liam could be seen naked under a white duvet, pulling it down below his navel while appearing to grab at himself.
His face wasn’t visible, but his many tattoos were, and Liam quickly deleted the image.
However his fans were loving the unintentional flash of flesh, with one saying on Twitter: “Liam posted a nude by accident. What a pleasant way to start my day, thank you daddy.”
Meanwhile, other people wondered whether he’d actually meant to send it as a private snap to a lucky recipient.
AnnaLynne McCord
AnnaLynne McCord of 90210 fame gave fans more than she intended to in 2012 when she uploaded a photo of her face and bust to social media.
The beauty was glowing in the snap, with a necklace around her neck and the pendant hanging on her naked décolletage.
Except, the photo wasn’t cropped, and one of AnnaLynne’s nipples was completely visible in the bottom corner.
AnnaLynne actually sent the image in response to a fan, however she soon deleted it and replaced it with a cropped version.
Her fan then assured her the nipple was gone, as she told her: “I wasn’t sure if you noticed it when you posted.”
AnnaLynne seemed to find the situation funny though, telling the original fan: “You feel like sharing? Very funny I actually LOL-ed xxxA.”
Chris Evans
Even the megastars of Hollywood aren’t safe from an accidental nude leak.
Marvel Cinematic Universe hunk Chris Evans, who plays Captain America throughout the franchise, accidentally uploaded a picture on his Instagram in which the smaller icon of a d*** pic was visible.
It’s clear Chris had forgot to crop it out of the post, but eagle-eyed viewers saw it and ran wild with it.
The actor later addressed his social media fail, after deleting the pic, as he tweeted: “Now that I have your attention, VOTE Nov 3rd,” adding a face-palm emoji and a shrug.
His pal and co-star Mark Ruffalo, who plays Hulk, tweeted him: “Bro, while Trump is in office there is NOTHING you could possibly do to embarrass yourself. See… silver lining.”
While Chris’s brother Scott Evans joked: “Was off social media for the day yesterday. So. What’d I miss?”
