Lorraine reacts as troll accuses her of 'bullying' Meghan Markle on ITV show

ITV’s Lorraine Kelly has reacted to a fan on Twitter after they sprung to her defence over “bullying” claims.

The Scottish chatshow host showed her appreciation to a fan who had been defending her against brutal accusations against Meghan Markle.

Lorraine Kelly, 62, has been at the centre of royal controversy just after her show had aired on ITV.

As the presenter posted a teaser trailer on Twitter of an upcoming Q&A she will be hosting which is all about breast cancer.

The programme’s official Twitter profile shared the clip of Lorraine which was captioned: “#ChangeandCheck is coming @reallorraine will be hosting a special ‘boobtube’ Q&A with a panel of experts for anything you want to know about breast cancer.

“If you want to know more about the signs & symptoms or how to support someone going through treatment, post your questions.”

However, one fiery viewer took the ample opportunity to accuse Lorraine of “bullying” Meghan instead of joining in with the breast cancer debate.

The Twitter user slammed her show as “toxic” due to Meghan being brought up during the broadcast.

The viewer ranted: “Lorraine you need to stop bullying Meghan your show is always toxic you hardly have any black folks in your show but yet you seem to gossip about black people. #LorraineKaren”

Though one fan jumped into state that Lorraine was in fact an “ally for all”.

They added: “You never watch her obviously.

“Lorraine is amazing… go ask Craig David or KSI if they’ve EVER experienced that from @reallorraine.

“Betcha they laugh at you. She is an ally for ALL.”

Host Lorraine then reposted the supportive tweet and added a Bitmoji of herself blowing a kiss.

The royal family are often a hot topic on her daytime show and though Lorraine can be opinionated, her manner is usually always polite.

She even backed Meghan on air the other week after critics slammed her and Harry for holding hands at the Queen’s service.

The presenter said there was nothing wrong with how they handled the service for the late Queen Elizabeth II which took place at Westminster Hall.
