Countryfile star Hamza Yassin has opened up about his weight battle after joining the cast of Strictly Come Dancing.
The 32-year-old recently confessed that he felt “too big” to dance the jive on the BBC One dance competition as he shared his struggles with his diet during the show.
Over the years, the TV star has overcome homelessness and “severe dyslexia”, but now he has set his sights on winning the Glitterball Trophy.

On Saturday night, the cameraman wowed the judges with his impressive routine to the soundtrack of Jurassic Park during the highly-anticipated Movie Week.

As he continues to floor viewers with his impressive moves up and down the country, the ex-rugby player has vowed to become the fittest he has “ever been in his life”.
Ahead of his Strictly debut, he acknowledged: “My biggest challenge will be my weight and my fitness.
“I’m a big dude and I think I’m strong but imagine me like a rhino where I can have a short burst of energy and then I’m knackered afterwards.
“I don’t want to be a rhino, I want to be a dolphin that’s constantly moving through water that can go for hours and hours.”

It is now understood that Hamza is being more careful with his diet in a big to reach his goal of taking home the beloved BBC award.
Last week after performing an energetic routine, the loveable rogue shared his fears that he was just “too big for the jive”.
After he danced to a rendition of Blinding Lights by the Weeknd with his professional dance partner Jowita Przystal, the TV presenter scored just 24 points – 10 less than his dancing debut the previous week.

However, his dance partner completely disagreed with his statement, insisting: “You’re not too big for the jive. You did everything I asked for. I see the talent.”
Fans soon flooded to Twitter to urge him not to “body shame” himself and limit his abilities because of his figure, as many reassured him that he was capable of achieving anything he set his mind too.
