She has revealed that he is back in the hospital after continuing to battle with complications after contracting sepsis in August.
The GMB star’s husband is one of the UK’s longest-suffering Covid patients.

He was first admitted to hospital with the virus back in March 2020.
In April 2021, he was able to return to his family home over a year later where he now receives round-the-clock care.
Speaking to The Sun, Kate said: “Derek is back in hospital after developing sepsis that again threatened his life and we are again fighting to get him home.
“But I remain constantly inspired by those around him – not just for their expertise but for their loving care.”
As the National Television Awards draw close, which Kate won award at last year for her Authored Documentary for Finding Derek, she has spoken out.
Kate has been nominated again this year for Caring for Derek, a follow-up to her first film, but feels “guilty'” asking fans to vote.
Kate said: “When Caring for Derek was nominated, I was of course very honoured but I had mixed feelings about asking people to vote for the film.
“I was worried and guilty about asking for more support when so many have already sent their good wishes.
“But now too many have got in touch saying “please shout it from the rooftops” for me to ignore!”
She also took to Instagram to say: “So I haven’t chatted to you all for a while and I haven’t talked at all about the fantastic nomination which I am so grateful for, for Caring for Derek the documentary for a National Television Award.
“I am so grateful to everyone who’s voted to get it this far and chuffed to bits.
“But the reason I haven’t spoken to you about it is because I felt sort of conflicted, because I feel as though I have had a lot of support from friends and family and from all of you and I just felt bad in a way for asking for more.
“But then several carers’ charities have been in touch with me and said ‘no, you must’.
