Strictly Come Dancing star Matt Goss has revealed he was banned off a dating app after being accused of imitating himself.
The singer – who has dated the likes of Melanie Sykes, Martine McCutcheon and Rebecca Fersguson – hasn’t had a great time while trying to find love more recently.
He even did as many do and signed up for a dating app, but his time on it was short-lived as he discovered he’d been kicked off and accused of “catfishing” – which is when someone uses photos of someone else as their own.

The 54-year-old said: “I got kicked off because they said, ‘We don’t think Matt Goss would appreciate you imitating him.'”
He added while speaking on BBC Radio 5: “I was too embarrassed to say, ‘No, it’s me, it’s actually me. I can show you my stats, you know – a naked picture, anything you need.’
“I didn’t have the guts to go, ‘I’m kind of desperate, I’m trying to find someone here.'”
Matt previously said that he was feeling more “virile” than ever and was wanting some intimacy, but he’d lost some confidence after his last relationship came to an end.
He said: “I want an active love life – I love to make love. But after my last relationship, physicality was tough for me. I was worried about getting hurt.”
The Bros star added to OK! magazine: “Now I love sex for the first time in a long while. I don’t sleep around but if I’m lucky enough to have sex, then I’m very grateful. It’s nice to have that desire back and to wake up in the morning and feel the urge.”
He said he felt “absurdly youthful” and, despite being in his 50s, still “attracted women in their 20s”.
Matt was recently linked to jewellery designer Chantal Brown after they were seen dining in Mayfair.
And she may be a shoulder to cry for him if he’s booted off Strictly this weekend after finding himself at the bottom of the leaderboard.
