Strictly in chaos as BBC bosses face scheduling issue as they 'try to plug spoiler leak'

Strictly Come Dancing bosses are facing a dilemma with their scheduling thanks to the weekly Strictly Spoiler which gets leaked every weekend.

Bosses apparently want to block a mole from leaking which celebrity and pro has been voted off each Saturday.

On Saturday night, shortly after the live show, the studio audience remain seated in order for the dance off to take place.

Pre-recorded on the Saturday but aired on the Sunday, this means that a mole can leak the results before it airs the following day – despite the studio audience sworn to secrecy.

With their phones taken off them during filming and them told not to say anything about the night, the studio audience is made up of the family and friends of the celebrity contestants, as well as a few select members of the public.

It is reported that originally the show was filmed on two separate nights, but in 2008 it was changed due to late host Bruce Forsyth struggling to host two nights in a row.

Pressure is now allegedly being put on the BBC for them to go back to filming the Saturday show and Sunday show separately in order to stop the mole from leaking the results.

The Sun reports: “Those running the show want to find out who is leaking and fast. What’s really baffling them is that it must be the same person.”

Daily Star has contacted the BBC for comment.

This comes as fans have been left fuming after a surprising celebrity found themselves in the dreaded dance-off, as the results from the filming on Saturday night (October 15) were leaked online.

One person said on Twitter: “Not impressed by the second person in the dance off but 100% right person went.”

Another wrote: “I agree with one half of the dance off contenders but the other one really didn’t deserve to be in there.”
