Coronation Street killer Stephen Reid could soon be caught out after murdering Leo Thompkins in cold blood.
Stephen was back on the cobbles on Wednesday (October 19) after a brief absence, and stumbled into his mum Audrey’s salon for a catch up.
But he was left horrified to find his ex-wife sitting in a salon chair, getting her hair done – and she soon promised to return for a drink with Audrey.
Gabrielle has threatened to spill Stephen’s sordid secrets to the rest of his family after realising he’s committing financial fraud – but some fans are sure she knows something a lot more sinister about her ex.
If Gabrielle already knows Stephen’s a killer, it could mean he’s taken more victims than just Leo.

Taking to Twitter, one eagle-eyed viewer said: “#Corrie So I’m guessing Stephen’s wife already knows he’s a killer, and he’s killed before Leo?”
They added: “Makes sense that she has more than money problems to hold over him with his family, as she could expose him at any point.”
In an eerie exchange, Audrey asked when Gabrielle was heading back to Milan, with Stephen vowing: “She won’t be here much longer.”
But could he be planning to off his ex like he offed Leo? Some fans certainly think so.
One penned: “‘She won’t be here much longer’ – Stephen’s killing her next.”
As another agreed: “So I am guessing Stephen is gonna kill Gabrielle?”
“Stephen’s wife will soon be sharing a shallow grave with Leo,” someone else echoed.
It comes as spoilers for the soap confirmed that Stephen is getting closer to meeting his sticky end.

Stephen is left worried next week as Jenny meets up with Leo’s dad Teddy to discuss finding his son.
But the killer quickly snaps a picture of the pair together and sends them to Teddy from Leo’s phone, telling him a mate saw them together and thought Leo might be interested.
His message reads: “Don’t contact me again” – but Teddy quickly decides he’s going to Canada to talk to his son face-to-face.
Later, Gabrielle makes it clear to her ex that she’s running out of patience when it comes to money – and later, he meddles further with Audrey, contacting the mortgage broker to cheat her out of her house.
Convinced he’s going to get the equity release money from his mum, Stephen tells Gail he’s planning to move on now that their mum is feeling better – but he’s left shaken by an announcement from Audrey herself.
