Love Island's Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu shares cryptic tweet after 'fake' couple accusation

Love Island star Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu rallied the support of her fans as she posted a cryptic message online.

The 2022 winner of the hit ITV dating show appeared to set tongues wagging on social media when she uploaded a mystery message after an interesting week for her and boyfriend Davide Sanclimenti.

The post itself was short and sweet simply reading: “I was always right,” alongside a smug faced emoji.

Fans of the Turkish beauty then rushed to support her – even though they weren’t really sure what exactly it is she was right about.

One wrote: “I don’t know what this is about but yes you are.”

Another added: “You’re right about everything and there’s no disputing that girl.”

A third agreed: “I don’t know what you’re talking about but yes of course you are always right.”

A fourth social media user Tweeted: “Yes Queen, you have never been wrong. Love you.”

A fifth said: “I don’t know what ur talking about but love the attitude!”

Interestingly, earlier this week both Ekin-Su and Davide appeared to post a snarky response when fellow former Islander Paige Thorne claimed that only two of the remaining couple from the series were “genuine” and that one couple in particular are faking it.

Talking on the Saving Grace podcast Paige, 24, was asked: “Who are the fakest couple to come out of Love Island?”

She then responded: “All I’m going to say on this right is there are how many couples left? Three. Three couples left – really there are only two. But that’s a secret I’ll never tell!”

Davide, 27, then posted a video while in the back of a taxi alongside Ekin-Su, 28, and was seen reciting a meaningful quote as she laughed in the background.

He said: “And remember, rumours are carried by haters, spread by fools and accepted by idiots. Kind regards.”

Paige recently split from Love Island’s returning bombshell Adam Collard after a spate of cheating allegations on his part led to the breakdown of their relationship.
