Married At First Sight UK’s Jordan Emmett-Connelly has admitted his regret and hinted at reuniting with his wife Chanita.
The 29-year-old account manager from Darlington and his bride Chanita left fans in awe of their loved up marriage, which was seemingly perfect.
Sailing through the experiment with only a small amount of blips, they were on track to be the most successful couple from the 2022 series.

But everything changed when the experiment ended and they moved back to their own homes in different areas of the UK.
With a distance between them, the couple’s marriage broke down and Jordan finished things with the Derby-based social worker over FaceTime.
Leaving Chanita, and viewers at home, completely heartbroken – Jordan remained silent after the airing of the final episode, but has now spoken out.
Taking to Instagram Jordan got candid in a lengthy caption alongside a sweet photo of him and Chanita, where he addressed his absence from social media.
He explained how he needed to give himself “adequate time to digest/reflect on the experience” and “get into a position” so that he could “tackle everyone’s opinion and the hate which comes with it”.
The MAFS UK star continued: “I cant express how difficult it has been to deal with the fact that I have upset Chanita to the extent I have, I am not a bad person, but I handled the situation badly, and I take full accountability and have learnt an important lesson. If I could turn back the clock and change things I would but unfortunately that’s not possible.”
He went on to add that he “doesn’t handle his emotions the best at times” and added that he doesn’t always think logically.
“Regardless of what you may think of me, I can wholeheartedly say that I went into that process 100% myself, I wasn’t trying to portray a certain image, I wasn’t playing up the cameras, I didn’t want to be anything after the show, and I certainly wasn’t trying to fake a relationship. All I wanted was to find love,” he explained.
After speaking about how he has been processing the experiment, he went on to write about his bride.
Jordan penned: “Chanita is an amazing person, I still have strong feelings and I care for her more than she will ever know.
“From the bottom of my heart, all I want is for her to be happy. I am so grateful that we shared this experience together.
“We have laughed, cried, and experienced every other emotion in between with each other. We truly seen and done it all, and I love us for that. We continue to speak every day, and I will do everything I can to try and keep her in my life.”
