Chas Dingle has been trying her best to keep her secret affair with Al Chapman under wraps in Emmerdale.
But once her brother Cain finds out the truth regarding her sordid relationship, things take a petrifying turn.
Next week, Chas will hold her nerve as Cain questions her on her fallout with Aaron and his decision to leave abruptly.

But when he hears Chas’ burner phone vibrating, Cain is flabbergasted when he finds it and discovers a string of messages from an unknown number revealing a likely affair.
Desperate to discover what’s going on, he decides to call the number, oblivious to who he is actually calling.
When the person on the other end eventually answers, Cain is stunned when he realises that its Al’s voice.
Cain’s expression quickly darkens as he listens to Al on the phone.
Filled with a mixture of anger and grief from his mother’s passing, Cain uses the phone to lure Al in and trap him.
Later on, while expecting to find Chas, Al is met with a steely Cain and the business end of a shotgun.
Meanwhile when Chas realises that Cain has found her burner phone she instantly fears the worst for two men who have been enemies for a long time.
As the two men meet at a nearby barn, Cain holds Al at gunpoint, his utter contempt at Chas’ affair with Al evident.
But Al remains cool and as his confidence grows as he starts to stride off, but determined to do some damage, Cain reveals that the gun was only to get his attention and prepares to fight Al.
The two men then begin to fight it out but as the tension between them mounts, both their gazes fall upon the shotgun lying nearby and they both fight to reach it.
As they wrestle each other, the shotgun blast goes off however it’s unclear who has shot who.
Viewers will have to wait and see who’s life is in danger.
