In the cheeky video, the presenting duo reassured the adoring fanbase that they “actually do proper office work” in their lavish new office space.

Dec explained: “We’ve noticed we’ve had a lot of comments on some of our videos, of people saying, ‘Is that your real office where you shoot like Game Boys and do all that stuff?’

“But it is our actual office and we do actually do actual work – office work, like proper jobs. In a typical week we do a lot of meetings, 50, 60 meetings at least.”

The camera then shot back to the pair on their as they discussed how they have managed to handle the slew of phone calls they get as hugely popular TV presenters.

Ant continued: “When we’re not going meetings we do phone calls, well we do phone meetings. They’re kind of phone calls, but we call them kind of phone meetings.

“Normal people would call them a phone call but we call them, in TV you kind of call them phone meetings”.

“So you can tell we do lots and lots of work and we wanna start showing you behind the scenes at Mitre and we wanna start showing you behind the scenes at Mitre.

“That’s the reason we’re starting this channel, so people can get a real behind the scenes glimpse of what goes on in a real television workplace at the work at Mitre.”
