N-Dubz star Tulisa leaves fans baffled as they mistake her for Madame Tussauds wax work

Tulisa Contostavlos was mistaken for a wax work after she uploaded a picture of herself in costume on Instagram.

The N-Dubz singer, 34, dressed up as a character from the video game series, Mortal Kombat.

Uploading a video of herself in her costume to Instagram, she captioned it: “FINISH HIM (purple heart emoji) #Mileena #Girlgamer #mortalkombat #halloween. Hair @carlbembridgehair. Make up @krystaldawn_mua.”

Dressing up as Mileena from the franchise, which has been described as a sci-fi fantasy fighting game, Tulisa donned a purple silky kimono-style wrap dress, which was edged with thick black fabric.

The dress featured material that draped around her neck and dipped into a v-neck top, before being cinched in at the waist with a thick belt of the same material. The short skirt flared out into two pieces of fabric.

Tulisa admitted she had to stand completely still for the video

Tulisa wore a pair matching black fingerless gloves with silver claws attached and completed the outfit with a pair of work boots, which she revealed had been spray painted purple.

But fans thought her look was almost too realistic, as the star wore a flawless makeup look, including purple eyeshadow, with black cat-eye winged liner and fluffy lashes.

A pinky nude lipstick had been applied to her pout, and with her glowing skin carefully highlighted and contoured.

Tulisa stared into the distance with a neutral facial expression, completely still, while the camera panned her outfit.
