With her mind going completely blank, the 65-year-old Wandsworth-born comedian was forced to ask for help in the form of asking host Jeremy Clarkson what he thought was correct.
“Now I think it’s all of them,” Jo said after mulling it over before asking Jeremy his thoughts.
Asking Jeremy what answer he would give, and in turn using one of her four lifelines, the beloved host replied: “Here’s what I think. Actually I don’t think, I know it’s Facebook.”
Feeling as though she could have got it, Jo said: “I thought as much,” before dropping a hilarious bombshell.
“I just had a little wobble,” she admitted before revealing: “and almost wet myself, so I thought I’d better ask you.”
Going with Jeremy’s answer, Jo got through and was correct with the answer of “Facebook”.
Viewers watching at home were quick to comment on the moment, with one questioning how Jo didn’t know the answer to a question about an “iconic” movie.
“Wait…Jo Brand hasn’t heard of The Social Network? It’s one of the most iconic modern movies! That’s like not knowing James Cameron directed Titanic. #WhoWantsToBeAMillionaire,” penned one.
Another then added: “I love Jo Brand, she’s so funny #whowantstobeamillionaire.”
While a third echoed: “Love Jo Brand she is hilarious.”
Jo ended up bowing out of the competition with £64,000 for her chosen charity before former BBC Breakfast star Dan Walker stepped up to the podium.
