“It was my birthday and I really wanted a British dinner, so I went in and had a lager. It was great.”
She went on: “The gambling machines and the smell of cigars was strange but gave it character.
“I went there another day for fish and chips – it was the best fish and chips I’ve ever had. Eventually I got used to it and started to crave it.”
Jessica adores a long list of British dishes.
She added: “I love Sunday roasts so much.
“And the desserts here are so good. I think it’s because the milk and cream are so much better.”
Jessica has been here to film her new drama Fifteen-Love.
And she’s recorded the soundtrack to Disney’s new Christmas advert The Gift, which is available to watch on Disney UK’s YouTube channel.
Encanto became Disney’s next big musical hit when it was released in 2021.
The animated movie tells the story of a family with magical powers in Colombia, with main character Mirabel struggling to find her place.
The soundtrack was released on November 19, 2021 and was a global success.
We Don’t Talk About Bruno topped the UK Singles Chart, making Encanto the first Disney film to have a No1 song and No1 album.
