I'm A Celebrity fans 'feel sick' and slam 'nightmare' leap of faith challenge

I’m A Celebrity fans have blasted the show’s “cruel” first challenge, after admitting the terrifying leap of faith task left them “feeling sick”.

The ITV reality show returned to screens on Sunday night (November 6), with the celebs returning to Australia for the first time in three years.

After an initial glamorous meeting, Charlene Whlte, Jill Scott and Babatunde Aleshe were tasked with a leap of faith challenge called The Ledge which viewers branded a “nightmare”.

One fan wrote: “This is HORRIFIC, my worst nightmare,” while another added: “I feel sick watching this already.”

A third fan added: “Well walk the plank this year has got tougher.

“It’s not only walking to the edge… it’s hanging over the edge for 60 seconds.”

Another quipped: “I’d rather eat a bag of kangaroo d***s than go anywhere near the edge of that tall building.”

A fifth added: “F*** that.”

A number of other fans also shared their belief that The Ledge task was worse than jumping out of a helicopter at 10,000 feet.

The comments followed their fellow campmates Olivia Attwood and Chris Moyles being tasked with the chopper option after being declared VIP – very isolated people – celebrities.

One viewer said: “Think I’d prefer jumping out of a helicopter than standing on the ledge.”

Another horrified fan agreed: “Rather jump from a helicopter then stand on a ledge tbf.”

Another chimed in: “Honestly I think I would prefer the helicopter jump than the ledge, I’d just have to tell the guy strapped to me to jump when he’s ready and ignore my screams of protest.”

While Charlene and Jill completed the jump, Babatunde pulled out of the challenge after initially agreeing to give it a go.
