Harry Potter producers went ape when a baboon kept pleasuring itself in front of the movie’s young stars.
Tom Felton – who played Draco Malfoy – said the cheeky monkey had to be removed as it was ruining filming.
He revealed: “The scene was Professor McGonagall’s Transfiguration lesson.

“The students were sitting at old-fashioned sloping school desks, the kind with the lid that opens up, and all around the room were cages with animals in them.”
He told how the baboon in question was “unaware of the niceties of social interaction and set etiquette and in particular he was unaware of what behaviour it is appropriate to exhibit in front of a bunch of kids”.
Tom, 35, explained in his new book Beyond the Wand the beast had to be removed when the child actors couldn’t stop laughing.
He said: “There was many a take that had to be discarded because of a w***ing baboon in the background.”
Actor Tom later apologised to Prof McGonagall actress Dame Maggie Smith for his fit of the giggles.
Elsewhere in his book, Tom opens up about the “secret love” he had for co-star Emma Watson, who played Hermione Granger in the movie franchise.
He explained in his new memoir that even his girlfriend at the time knew “there was something unspoken” between them during the early Harry Potter films.
Tom wrote: “I remember using the familiar old line, ‘I love her like a sister.’ But there was more to it than that.
“I don’t think I was ever in love with Emma, but I loved and admired her as a person in a way that I could never explain to anybody else… we were kindred spirits. I know for certain I’ll always have Emma’s back and she’ll always have mine too.”
The actor went on to explain that the pair have formed a deep and lifelong bond, however their relationship didn’t get off to the best start when they met aged nine and 11 and at audition.
“She pointed at a boom mic in the room and asked, ‘What’s that?’ and he told her: ‘It means they are recording us, obviously’,” he explained in his memoir, adding that he would’ve forgiven the Little Women actress if she didn’t want anything to do with him.
