Right Said Fred have told how they filled salt pots in a cruise ship’s restaurants with cocaine.

And when they ended up with too much they found a unique way to get rid of it before jetting back to the UK.

Fred, 65, said: “Before we left for the Caribbean, a mate said, ‘If you want any coke, I have a good contact in Trinidad’. When we arrived there we remembered this, and made a call.
“To avoid sounding obvious, I said, ‘We’d like three’, assuming we were talking about grams.
“He said, ‘That’ll be 500 dollars.’ I thought that was a bit steep, but hey, why not?
“During our soundcheck we got a frantic call from our PA.
“She had collected the coke only to find that we’d unwittingly bought three ounces!”
Fred’s brother Richard, 68, added: “With only three days of the seven-day cruise left, we thought, ‘What the hell are we going to do with all this gear?’”
In new book Still Too Sexy, Fred they said they hatched a plan to ditch the drugs.
He added: “In an inspirational moment, we decided to decant some of the coke into the salt grinders in the restaurants.
“Later, we had visions of people saying, ‘This Caribbean fresh air gives you quite a kick.’
“The rest of the coke we had to flush away.”
The pair once admitted they were so skint they almost did a porn film with twins.
In their new memoirs, Still Too Sexy, singer Fred said that they were offered $3,000 (£2,600) between them to shoot the video.
He explained: “The brief was that we would be having sex with the twins, in other words, two brothers s****ing two sisters. It would have been a day’s work or whatever.”

The brothers went to the video maker’s apartment in New York to discuss it.
Richard said: “We were skint, so we thought about it for a second – it was a lot of money for us in 1987 – but we just couldn’t face it.”
