I'm A Celebrity's Matt Hancock screams in terror as he takes on underground trial

Matt Hancock and Seann Walsh were left screaming in terror as they were forced underground for the latest grisly Bushtucker Trial on I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!

In a preview clip for Wednesday’s episode (November 9), the two late arrivals to camp take on the trial – called The Beastly Burrows – to try and win stars for their new campmates.

The video sees the unlikely duo crawling around blacked-out, underground tunnels feeling around in the dark to try and find stars to exchange for some meals.

The late arrivals have to work together to try and find the stars as they crawl through puddles and have creepy crawlies dropped on them from above.

Both of them can be heard screaming in terror as they are pelted with bugs – but whether or not they succeed in the challenge is yet to be seen.

That’s not the only trial the MP and comedian will be given though, as it has been revealed they will become moles in order to win luxury items for the camp.

They will have to do a variety of tasks in camp and not get caught or look out of the ordinary, otherwise the luxury items will be lost.

A source said: “f they succeed the campmates will get their luxury items like pillows and photos of loved ones.

“Bosses think it will be hilarious watching Matt try to act up and pull this off.”

I’m A Celeb hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly teased that Matt and Seann would have plenty of work to do when entering the jungle camp.

Chatting on Instagram live after Tuesday’s episode (November 8), Dec said: “Listen here is a fun fact, they have already gone in there this morning. Not in camp but in the jungle. They are somewhere in there already and have been given a task. Obviously they face a trial but they have been given something to do as well.”

And ahead of entering camp, MP Hancock said: “Politicians are people too and it will be nice for people to see me as me. We are human too.

“Lots of people have a view on me from being Health Secretary in the pandemic dealing with some very difficult issues, but that’s not the whole story. I am looking forward to throwing myself into it all like I do everything in life. You can’t hide anything in the jungle, you see somebody warts and all.”
