Strictly Come Dancing star Will Mellor couldn’t contain his tears as he received feedback from his emotional dance dedicated to him mum in Saturday night’s Strictly.
As he tried to respond to host Claudia Winkleman’s questions, Will succumbed to his tears and emotions, saying: “I’m emotional … I just can’t talk at the moment, I’m sorry”.
The Hollyoaks actor danced to Three Times A Lady, a song his dad used to sing to his mum before he passed away. Talking to him mum in a video tape before the dance, Will said he was prepared for it to be “emotional”.

“It’s beautiful,” he said. “It’s going to be emotional on the night”.
Explaining the meaning behind the dance, Will said he wanted to “pay his respects” to his late father and his family.
“Hopefully with this dance i can pay my respects to my dad”, he said.
Tony continued: “I wanna do it justice, if i can do it right it’ll be perfect.”
Once Tony had finished the moving performance, fans could immediately tell he was feeling as emotional as he thought he would.
One took to Twitter to praise how “unbelievably emotional” his dance was. Another agreed saying: “What an emotional night on #Strictly. Cried with Will and Hamza.”
A third commented, saying: “I had to pause the show after Will’s dance. Utterly in bits. #Strictly”
Having moved the judges as well as viewers, Will was awarded three tens from Shirley Ballas, Anton Du Beke and Motsi Mabuse.
