Original Dotty Cotton actress far cry from EastEnders role as she wows in bikini

EastEnders’ original Dotty Cotton actress Molly Conlin has sizzled up a storm while wearing a skimpy bikini – something that comes as her old soap character gets axed.

Molly was the original actress to take on the role of Dot Cotton’s granddaughter Dotty in BBC One’s EastEnders before Milly Zero took over in 2019.

The stunning brunette was just a child when she appeared on the beloved soap was born in 2001, which means she’s now 21.

Wearing a plunging Dior bikini with a matching bucket hat, Molly looked sensational as she smouldered for the camera.

Looking sensational while pouting for the camera and snapping a quick selfie, Molly showed off her sensational figure while posing in the designer bikini.

Fans and friends couldn’t get enough of the sultry snap, with one fan penning: “Sexy,” while another simply gushed: “Hottie.”

“Obsessed with you,” added a third.

While a fourth jokingly said: “Cheer up sexy,” referring to the way in which she wasn’t smiling in the snap.

And a fifth swooned: “Beautiful.”

Molly’s career was kickstarted after she attended the Sylvia Young agency in 2008.

Soon after attending the school, she landed a role in the soap.

Molly, who was just seven, said at the time: “I’m really excited about it because I have always wanted to be in EastEnders.”

The brunette beauty originally wanted the role of Tiffany Dean, but Maisie Smith ended up taking it on because she looked younger.

Molly first appeared in EastEnders as Dot Cotton’s granddaughter in December 2008 but left two years later in February 2010.

Since leaving the soap she has appeared in Horrible Histories and Blandings, with her most recent credit being in 2013.

Milly Zero took on the role of Dotty Cotton in 2019, but has now announced that she will be stepping down from her soap stint.

Taking to Instagram over the weekend, Milly teased that her character would have a dramatic exit.

She wrote: “After 3 & a half years – I have decided my journey with the icon that is Dotty Cotton has come to an end.

“I can’t tell you how life changing my time at EastEnders has been, and how much I am going to miss it, but I am ready for new challenges now.

“Thank you to everyone that made it so special – I have made friends for life, learnt huge amounts and made memories to last a lifetime. I can’t wait for you all to watch her Exit, she goes out with a bang!”
