Eamonn Holmes’ GB News co-star Isabel Webster has issued an update about the former This Morning star’s health.
Speaking exclusively to Daily Star at the TV Choice Awards tonight (November 14), Isabel revealed that Eamonn was supposed to be at the red carpet event but couldn’t make it.
She explained how he needed to attend a medical appointment, which led to him not being in attendance at the glitzy event.

“He had a scan today and was meant to be here with me but we should know more tomorrow,” she revealed to us.
Adding: “Hopefully he will be back on screens in January. Fingers crossed.”
Eamonn underwent major surgery on his back in September, and has been absent from his GB News show ever since.
He recently appeared on GB News via video link where he gave fans an update on his health.
He said: “Last month I suffered a fall at home while I was recovering from my back operation and fractured my shoulder.
“It was a massive setback and means I’m going to need to take some extra time off to get myself better.
“It’s been a hellish few weeks. But day by day I’m improving, and I am remaining positive and trying to look on the bright side.”
He had the operation to ease “pain and restrictions” that he had been suffering from for over 18 months.
Eamonn – who used to head up This Morning with wife Ruth Langsford – recently spoke of feeling “humiliated” after struggling to walk before covering the late Queen Elizabeth’s funeral.
Isabel and Eamonn head up the show entitled Breakfast With Eamonn & Isabel, which is a morning magazine-style programme that airs on GB News.
The channel launched in 2021 and has been a success ever since.
