Danniella Westbrook's 'looking for work' as she offers 'extra hands' for selfless act

Danniella Westbrook, 49, is “looking to work” this Christmas as the former EastEnders star is looking to do an act of good.

In a tweet to her 260,000 followers on Thursday (November 24), Danniella asked followers if they knew any charities that “need an extra pair of hands” this festive season.

Her tweet read: “I’m looking to work all over Christmas too including Christmas Day etc feeding and helping homeless people or the elderly… any charities in London or Essex need extra pair of hands, let me know.”

Alongside a selection of suggestions, Danniella’s tweet was met with many warm messages, with fans admiring her kind deed.

One fan penned: “You are so sweet,” while a second added: “How lovely is this? A celebrity giving something back to ordinary people in need.”

Another proud follower commented: “I hope someone up above gives you some good luck back, as this is an admirable quality to have. Some more celebrities should take a leaf out of your book!”

Danniella’s heart-gesturing tweet comes a few weeks after she looked very glam as she celebrated her 49th birthday.

On November 5, the actress, best known for her role as Sam Mitchell on EastEnders, looked incredible as she posed for a sweet “family” picture with her friends in Liverpool.

Sharing the snap on Instagram, Danniella wrote: “They mean the world to me …. My Scouse family. Thanks for all my birthday love. #MyFamily @logsy20 @amyloux0 @livwilliamsxx @e_mira.2134.”

The actress also recently landed her first acting role in six years after her exit from EastEnders in 2016.

Danniella is heading to the West End to transform into Fairy Godmother for adult pantomime Sinderfella.

She will star alongside Big Brother star Simon Gross, who will be playing one of the Ugly Sisters.

A show insider said the former soap star “couldn’t wait to get back to her acting roots” with the lucrative stint on stage.

“She is nervous as she hasn’t acted since she returned to EastEnders back in 2016, but her passion has always been acting, so she is super excited for this next chapter of her career,” a show insider told The Sun.
