This Morning descended into chaos on Friday (November 25) after a fire alarm wouldn’t stop going off during an interview with Mel B.
Presenters Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary welcomed the Spice Girls star onto the show to chat about her latest venture with Emily Atack.
But the duo weren’t hosting from their regular spot in the ITV studio and were instead presenting from their local pub in celebration of England’s upcoming game against USA in the World Cup tonight.

But as they started chatting in the new location, the trio didn’t know what to do as a fire alarm began ringing.
In the midst of her sentence, the singer leaped up upon hearing the alarm and insisted everyone leave the new studio, all while the presenters remained on the sofa.
Keeping calm, Alison grabbed Mel B to stop her from leaving the set and sat her in between the duo.
The former X Factor judge then began reading what was coming up on the show on autocue before announcing they were cutting to an ad break.
She then abruptly left the sofa and walked off camera, leaving Alison and Dermot in stitches before it finally cut to an ad break.
When they returned, Alison admitted she “loves it” when live TV goes wrong, before the singer slammed “health and safety” as no one moved when the alarm went off.
She exclaimed: “Imagine if there was a fire we didn’t even move.”
After finally chatting to the pair about her new show Trailblazers: A Rocky Mountain Road Trip, Mel B walked away from the presenters for a second time.
“Bye!” she shouted as she stormed past the pair.
Dermot joked: That’s the way it works now. Walk off again.”
Viewers of the show couldn’t get enough of the chaos as they took to social media to comment on the live error.
“Lmao the fire alarm and everyone ignoring it #ThisMorning,” penned one user.
Another added: “@thismorning did that just happen, for real, the fire alarm [laughing emoji].”
“A fire alarm, haha that’s new. #ThisMorning,” quipped a third.
