'Ruthless' Meghan Markle would find I'm A Celeb 'easier than Royal Family,' says ex star

Meghan Markle would “smash” I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!’, says ex-star Nicola McLean.

The reality TV star spoke exclusively to the Daily Star about her thoughts of more royals going into the jungle after Mike Tindall’s entrance this year.

Nicola, 41, said: “Let’s be honest, we would never get them on, 100% not.

“But we can dream well I think Meghan has proven herself to be absolutely ruthless and ambitious so I think she would smash it in there and I think she would have the mental mind to just get down and really go for it.”

Nicola says Meghan would “smash” the show

The 2008 series star continued: ” Prince Harry, he was in the army, wasn’t he? So, I think they would both be really good in there and I really like Harry and I’ve got no problem with Meghan.

“She just really provokes such a bad reaction in people. I don’t understand it. I’m not a royalist but they don’t bother me at all.

“But yeah, I think they’d be quite good in there.

Harry’s army background would also bode him well

“They are all primed from young to be able to handle any situation so I think that the jungle is easier to live in than the royal family.”

Nicola also came up with the theory that Mike Tindall has been put in the jungle to take media attention away from the royal family.

She told us: “I think Mike is going to be good, he’s not going to be scared of anything, but I don’t mind that.

“I don’t think he will do the trials as Matt is going to do them all until the group starts picking themselves.

“I think maybe this is a really good ploy by the royals by letting him go in – he would have had to ask – I’m not saying they can say yes or no as he’s not a working royal.

“So, they couldn’t technically stop him but I’m pretty sure if the royals weren’t happy about it he wouldn’t do it. Because he’s not going to go against the family as they get on really well.

“I think it’s going to take away a lot of the press The Crown would have gotten by him being in there. I think the press is more invested in him being in there than The Crown for a while.”

“That’s what I think, there could be stuff going on we don’t know about while we are all more invested in him being on the show.”
