Coronation Street’s Sally Carman has been supported by her co-stars after sharing huge career news away from the ITV1 soap.
Posting a glamorous snap – where she looked worlds away from her role as Abi Franklin – the Manchester star looked incredible as she posed with two awards.
Holding two glass gongs over her chest, Sally grinned for the camera and admitted that she was “over the moon” to have been awarded them.

She took one home for Best Performance in a Continuing Drama, and the second for Best Continuing Drama Storyline for Abi’s Baby Battle.
The Abi star won the awards at the annual Royal Television Society North West Awards 2022 on Saturday (November 26).
The lavish event took place at The Point, Manchester, and was filled full of famous faces from the television industry.
When Sally posted the celebratory snap on Instagram, fans, friends and Corrie co-stars were quick to congratulate the talented star.
Sally Dynevor, who portrays Abi’s on-screen pal Sally Webster, penned: “Fabulous Sal. Well done.”
“Yay!!! Well done gorgeous,” added Sally Ann Matthews who plays Jenny Connor.
While Kimberly Hart-Simpson who plays Nicky Wheatley penned: “You look beaut- congrats xxxx.”
And fans couldn’t help but flock behind the star too, with many leaving sweet messages of congratulation.
One fan penned: “Congratulations. Well deserves. You are an amazing actress.”
Another went on to say: “Absolutely fantastic! Truly well deserved! That’s your contract extended, love and support you’ve got from your adoring fans continues.”

The 41-year-old actress joined Coronation Street in October 2017.
When Abi first arrived on-screens, she was the drug-addicted mother of established teenage character, Seb Franklin (Harry Visinoni).
