I'm A Celeb fans think show was recorded 'months ago' after Mike Tindall's Queen clue

I’m A Celebrity viewers are certain Mike Tindall’s eviction from the jungle was pre-recorded, despite the show always filming live when celebrities leave camp.

Earlier in yesterday’s (Nov 26) episode, Mike spoke about the late Queen Elizabeth the Second, who is also his wife Zara’s grandmother.

During a trial, Mike was asked by presenters Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly what the name of a person who keeps and breed pigeons is.

Mike unfortunately got the answer wrong and replied, saying: “And the worst thing is the Queen has got the biggest collection of pigeons.”

Viewers were quick to notice Mike’s use of the present tense when referencing Her Majesty, who died in September this year.

Elsewhere in the show, Seann Walsh also made a reference to a comedy show he featured on, Mock The Week. The show, as fans eagerly pointed out, was cancelled in the summer.

One fan who clocked Seann and Mike’s errors tweeted: “Was I’m A Celebrity actually filmed in August or something? Mike referencing the Queen as if she’s still alive, Seann talking about Mock The Week (RIP both) #ImACelebrity #ImACeleb”.

“Mike doesn’t know the Queen died. Seann doesn’t know they cancelled Mock the Week. What next? Matt thinks Liz Truss is still PM? #ImACeleb”, another posted.

A third laughed: “Awe Bless Mike saying The Queen has a collection of pigeons, she’s passed away Mike. #ImACeleb.”

Seann and Mike were the most recent celebrities to be evicted from the jungle via the public vote. They leave behind former MP Matt Hancock, Lioness Jill Scott and Hollyoaks actor Owen Warner to battle it out to become King or Queen of the jungle.

Mike was met by his royal wife, Zara Tindall on the I’m A Celeb red carpet, making Zara the first royal to ever visit the set Down Under.
