Britney Spears has left her fans “terrified” after posting an eerie video where she dons her grandmother’s wedding veil and gazes into the camera – while audio plays that states “I can’t breathe”.
The 90s and noughties popstar – who was freed from her conservatorship last November – continues to spark concern among her fans, and her recent Instagram offering follows suit.
In the video Britney can be seen wearing a silk nightgown and vintage lace bridal veil as she looks into the camera and poses for the short clip.

Made up of different cuts shot with different backgrounds, some fans even speculated that a “green screen” was used for the video.
Other fans have said Britney seems “possessed” while others think the audio Britney used for the video was “disturbing”.
Pointing out the audio, one fan penned: “It’s very disturbing that the audio in the background keeps saying ‘I can’t breathe’.”
Garnering a slew of replies from other fans, someone said: “Song is like 6 yrs old too By Mick Jenkins… so it#s not like it’s something trending right now.”
“This is terrifying actually,” replied a second.
While a third seemed worried when they wrote: “I honestly think authorities need to start being tagged, something isn’t right!”
Elsewhere in the comments section, one fan speculated that the Toxic songstress might be “possessed” when they said: “I spend my life dealing with creepy stuff but to be honest this is just off the scale. Starting to wonder if she’s possessed!”
“None of this goes together. The music, the gowns, the veil. Tf [the f*ck] is going on?” asked another.
While a third posed a question of: “Who is editing these? That background looks like a green screen.”
Since Britney’s conservatorship ended a year ago, she has had a whirlwind year.
She announced her pregnancy with now-hubby Sam Asghari’s child but sadly suffered a miscarriage the following month.
The couple then married in June at her home in Thousand Oaks, Los Angeles.
And in August she and Elton John released the duet Hold Me Closer, a remake of John’s 1972 single Tiny Dancer.
