Tipping Point host Ben Shephard was left stunned after a contestant made an “unbelievable” comeback in the final round of the show.
As player Doug joined his fellow contestants for a chance to win a cash prize, he trailed player Matt who landed a series of major drops, scoring him an impressive £1600.
However, the ITV quiz show took an unexpected turn that left host Ben stunned as Matt took on his final question, trailing by £500.

He answered the question correctly, landing him one unlikely chance of catching his opponent.
Needing 10 counters to steal the win, he managed to land 16 counters, leaving Ben stunned.
“Wow,” he gushed.
“You only needed 10 and you got 16 counters Doug that’s unbelievable!”
Matt and Doug dominated the game as player Mo and Emma failed bank any money at all during the game.
Ben was recently forced to quickly defended himself when a contestant thought he was making a dig at her age.
The Good Morning Britain host, 47, welcomed three new hopefuls during a recent episode, where Ben asked player Rhiannon: “The Great Fire of Pontypandy is the title of a 2009 film based on which children’s TV show?”
Rhiannon admitted she had no idea and passed it over to Sharon, who guessed Ivor the engine, which made the presenter’s jaw drop.
“I don’t know if that’s right but it’s the only one I can think of that might be something to do with Wales,” she added.
Visibly confused by the answer, Ben responded: “Okay… Rhiannon do you have any idea what Ivor the engine was about?”
A baffled Rhiannon suspected it could have something to do with Thomas the Tank Engine as Ben clarified: “Well it’s about train! It’s about a Welsh train called Ivor.”
