“It was crazy,” she told the audience.

“I got to sit with them, and we had a normal conversation – as much as you can with the future King. I kept being nervous I was going to spill.”

Jenna elaborated that it was a black-tie event and most of the men were wearing kilts while they dined on traditional “Scottish fare.”

Her co-host Hoda Kotb let the secret out about Hager’s lack of underwear by telling a story to the audience during tehir show last month, revealing she and Hager were changing backstage and that’s when she noticed the missing underwear.

The two shared some giggles and some back-and-forth banter about the pros and cons of ditching the panties.

Hager appeared surprised and amused Kotb had brought up the topic on-air.

She reminded the audience she wasn’t the one who announced her personal habits to the world, but rather Kotb was the one to thank for the public announcement. “People think I shared that with the world!” Hager exclaimed.

Kotb chimed in to defend her friend by talking about the advantages of ditching the underwear: “But she doesn’t have any panty lines and all those things that you need to worry about!” Kotb said.

The two ladies went on to agree that not wearing underwear can “make life a lot easier” but does result in a lot of laundry.

“[Hoda] said, ‘Do you wash your clothes’ and I said, ‘Yes, I do.’ But it’s also not like I’m sharing your jeans with you,” the former first daughter argued.
