Coronation Street fans have predicted that a huge character will return to the cobbles this Christmas – spelling trouble for Fiz Stape and Tyrone Dobbs.
Tyrone recently proposed to Fiz, after the pair rekindled their romance following the breakdown of her relationship with Phil Whittaker.
However, fans have ‘worked out’ that a huge character from the pair’s past could make a return on Christmas Day, when the couple are reportedly due to tie the knot – Alina Pop.

Viewers will remember that Tyrone had an affair with beautician Alina Pop in 2021, leaving Fiz and their daughters heartbroken as Tyrone chose to move out of the family home.
More trouble was set to follow however, as Hope started a fire at Tyrone and Alina’s flat, in anger at their relationship.
Alina later spotted Tyrone kissing Fiz as they reconciled to support daughter Hope, leaving her heartbroken as she departed the cobbles for good.
However before she left, Alina announced to Tyrone that she had fallen pregnant again – and fans think that she could return to Weatherfield with their baby on Christmas Day.

Taking to social media, one fan suggested: “Apparently it’s Tyrone and Fiz wedding this Christmas time and I think Alina comes back with her and Tyrone’s baby in tow.. imagine the twist there.. I’ve not read that it’s what I think could happen.”
A second agreed, saying: “Yep she will turn up with his son,” while a third added: “Isn’t it about time for Alina to make an appearance with the baby?”
“I’m still wondering when #Alina is going to reappear with #Tyrone ’s baby!” commented a fourth.
However, could the return of another character bring more trouble for the reunited couple on Christmas Day instead?

Despite dying in hospital, Coronation Street fans think that John Stape’s death could have been a hoax – and that the villain could make a return to the cobbles.
After Hope began receiving mysterious messages from an online gamer called Mad Dog, fans have begun to suspect that their real identity could be her father – and that John has been secretly chatting to his daughter online.
One viewer said: “Hope’s on about Mad Dog again… her dad’s deffo still alive!”
“Yes [Mad Dog is] John Stape!” said a second.
A third said: “Bring back John Stape,” while a fourth asked: “John Stape is still alive?”
If their suspicions are true, John’s return to the cobbles could certainly spell danger for Fiz and the other Weatherfield residents in the future.
However, not all fans agree that John Stape should return, as another commented on Twitter: “I hope they don’t bring back stape would rather they bring back Alina on Christmas with a baby surprise for Tyrone.”
