Love Actually aired 19 years ago and remains one of the most famous Christmas films of all time.
Since its release, many o the stars who appeared in the festive film have changed quite substantially, including Mia star Heike Makatsch.
Heike, 51, was shot to worldwide fame after playing the scheming secretary who drew Alan Rickman’s character Harry away from Emma Thompson’s role of his wife Karen.
Mia was one of the film’s most hated characters with fans coming out in full force every year to comment on how cruel the relationship was on poor Karen.

Compulsive flirt Mia continually teases her boss Harry throughout the film and can even be seen wearing matching lingerie.
Despite being hated by some film fans, she also went down a Christmas treat with others who adored her racy red look.
Heike left a lasting impression on audiences with her role in the cult fave and has starred in many other Hollywood roles such as Liesel’s mother in The Book Thief and Lisa in Resident Evil.

The classic rom-com still breaks viewers’ hearts every time they see Karen open her disappointing Christmas present – but Heike isn’t sly in real life.
Since the movie, the Dusseldorf native has ditched the dark wig and opted for blonder lockers.
She was Love Actually’s sexy siren, but in her personal life, she chooses a more demure style.
The screen star has since ditched the lingerie for life as a parent and had three daughters.

The beauty’s kids were born in 2007, 2009, and 2015; with Max Martin Schröder from German indie band Tomte and Der Hund Marie.
Talking about her girls, she said: “They are almost 16, 13 and six years old. The little ones in particular keep me young.”
She added: “The cyclical life is coming to an end and giving way to a directionless free fall. You ask yourself: Who am I? And what kind of impertinence could I possibly be?”

Before James Bond star Daniel Craig found long-lasting love with Mummy actress Rachel Weisz, Daniel had a seven-year romance with German actress Heike.
The pair met in 1996 on the set of the romantic drama Obsession, which featured a love triangle between two men and a woman.
Their on-screen romance bloomed into a real romantic relationship and the pair were together for nearly eight years, with them ending in 2004.
The pair reportedly ended on good terms, but Daniel announced that long periods apart due to work commitments became a struggle for the couple.
In an interview, Daniel once confessed: “Film sets have caused a lot of break-ups, marriages go down the tubes. It’s bloody lonely.”
Since their relationship, the pair have moved on – Daniel with wife Rachel, and Heike now being with German actor Tystan Pütter.

For years, Love Actually fans have been desperate to know if Mia and Harry ended up getting it on.
Writers of the film left the possibility open to viewers’ imaginations but nothing was ever set in stone.
However, scriptwriter and director Richard Curtis’s wife Emma Freud once took to Twitter to live-tweet the film back in 2015.
And, doing so, she answered a few questions that fans have always wanted to know.

One fan asked: “@emmafreud Did anyone ask if Harry ACTUALLY had an affair or was just tempted to? Alan Rickman villains r usually lovable but not this one!”
To which she replied: “@carlotta429 DEFINITELY had an affair. I begged Richard just to make it a flirtation, but no. the whole way.”
Another fan then fumed: “@emmafreud @carlotta429 “OMG, I hate him. So disappointed. Did he buy the necklace b4 or aft. he shagged her? That little whore, I hate her!”
