Jeremy Clarkson had lunch with Camilla before Meghan Markle and Rose West comparison

Jeremy Clarkson recently shared his opinion on Meghan Markle, admitting he hated her more than Rose West.

The television presenter has been slammed for his expletive views after saying he dislikes the Duchess of Sussex on a “cellular level”.

In recent years, Clarkson, 62, has been a vocal critic of Meghan and has never shied away from airing his views on the former actress.

Now, he’s unleashed a blistering attack against the Duchess which has sparked outrage across the nation with many hitting out at the former Top Gear presenter.

However, just days before publishing his latest opinion piece, Clarkson joined the likes of Piers Morgan and Tess Daly at a lavish lunch in Mayfair – with his friend, Queen Camilla.

Her Majesty attended the luxury “white truffle” lunch held at Murano in Mayfair on Wednesday which was hosted by Ewan Venters, the former head of royal grocer, Fortnum & Mason.

The Queen, 75, mingled with Clarkson and Piers who have both expressed their dislike for Meghan since she and Prince Harry decided to step down as senior working royals.

Harry and Meghan announced in January 2020 that they would be taking a step back – before eventually giving up all roles and moving to California.

In his latest opinion piece for The Sun, Clarkson wrote: “Meghan, though, is a different story. I hate her. Not like I hate Nicola Sturgeon or Rose West. I hate her on a cellular level.

“At night, I’m unable to sleep as I lie there, grinding my teeth and dreaming of the day when she is made to parade naked through the streets of every town in Britain while the crowds chant, ‘Shame!’ and throw lumps of excrement at her.”

Clarkson went on to claim that “everyone” who is his age thought the same way.

There is no indication that Her Majesty was aware that Clarkson was planning to publish these views.

Carol Vorderman has hit out at Jeremy for his views on social media, tweeting: “NO Jeremy Clarkson. Not on any level, in any circumstance, is it ok to write this stuff about any woman and absolutely NO to ‘everyone who’s my age thinks the same’ no no no.

“We absolutely do NOT think the same.”

She then concluded: “Listen to the noise Jeremy. The crowds are chanting ‘shame on YOU’.”

Jim Gamble, CEO INEQE Safeguarding Group and TedX speaker replied: “I could not agree with you more. Well said, Carol.”
