Emmerdale's Tricia Dingle star looks very glamorous 18 years after tragic exit

Emmerdale star Sheree Murphy, who played Tricia Dingle on the ITV soap, looks worlds away from her iconic character 18 years later.

The brunette bombshell, who played Tricia from 1998 to 2004, looked gorgeous as she donned a black high-necked jumper with a black leather skirt.

Adding a black studded jacket and black tights, Sheree looked seriously glamorous as she posed in her huge hallway ahead of a night out.

Tying her dark hair up into a bun, Sheree rocked her trademark fringe as she kept her make-up simple but elegant, adding a dramatic eye and slick of nude lipstick.

She captioned the snap: “Christmas drinks with girls, hangover pending!” as the compliments came pouring in for the former soap actress.

Charley Webb wrote: “Let’s hope it’s better than our more than average one.”

Neighbours actress Colette Mann added: “Looking gorgeous though.”

One fan said: “Looking stunning sheree.”

She played Tricia on Emmerdale for six years before being killed off

The actress looked like she had barely aged at all, despite it being nearly two decades since her exit from the ITV soap.

Tricia was killed off in heartbreaking scenes after being struck by a tree which had been struck by lightning while looking for Marlon in the Woolpack.

After realising that she was still in love with him after a rocky patch in their romance, she was ready to declare her love but tragedy struck.

After being discovered by Diane and Marlon lying in the rubble, Tricia was rushed to hospital but was declared brain dead.

Marlon had to make the agonising decision to turn off her machine, leaving him devastated for years, with the character making reference to her for a number of years since her death.

Emmerdale airs weekdays at 7.30pm on ITV.
