Sir Cliff Richard is eyeing up a collaboration with Stormzy after narrowly missing out on the top spot for Christmas Number 1.
The ‘Mistletoe and Wine’ singer reached all the way to Number 2 in the final Christmas album charts with his latest offering ‘Christmas With Cliff’, finishing only behind Taylor Swift’s ‘Midnights’.
The legendary singer was also beaten in the previous week’s chart, this time by rapper Stormzy, who claimed the top spot with ‘This Is What I Mean’.

Sir Cliff, 82, told Iain Dale’s All Talk podcast: “My album came in at two in the charts that covers Spotify and all those things but I came in at Number 1 on the physical chart.
“I’d rather be Number 1 but I keep saying to people, at least I’m going up – Stormzy at one, there’s only one way for him to go.”
He was then asked if he would like to take part in a festive duet with the rapper, to which he replied: “Why not?”
The 82-year-old even admitted to buying his own albums, revealing he has bought “half a dozen of my own albums”.
