Susanna Reid, Ben Shephard and Kate Garraway welcomed Corrie stars onto the show on Sunday (December 25) to speak about their storylines.

Tyrone Dobbs star Alan Halsall and Dame Maureen Lipman, who plays Evelyn Pummer in the ITV soap, starred on the show when it was hinted at that the show was pre-recorded.

As the presenters chatted to the stars about their plans, Maureen revealed the Corrie cast had already eaten their soap Christmas Dinner today – with the interview slot being shown at 7am on the 25th.

Maureen said: “I love being part of a community of actors, we’ve all had our Christmas dinners today, haven’t we?”

However, the hosts ignored this comment and moved on to the next topic.

This spurred on a viewer to take to Twitter to share their thoughts on the show, with one writing: “This isn’t live..is it? #gmb”

A second added: “If you think this is live..look up the meaning of the word delusional #gmb.”
